National futsal team demolished by Ukraine

The national futsal squad of Moldova lost to Ukraine two friendly matched played at home. In the first match, Moldova were beaten 0-5, while in the second on September 29 they were demolished 1-9. The only goal for the hosts was scored by Valeriu Baiesu, Info-Prim Neo reports. The games did not involve Sergiu Tacot, Nicolae Neagu, Alexei Muntean, and Andrian Lascu, who perform abroad. Coach Vladimir Vusatyi was also absent as he is doing a training course in Switzerland. On October 13 and 14, Moldova will play two friendlies against Poland in Chisinau. The matches are a preparatory stage for the World Futsal Championship qualifiers that start in October. Moldova will play in a group with Georgia, Armenia and Malta.
