Political commentator Corneliu Ciurea said the order of the actions taken by the new government is strange. The government annuls some of the ongoing social projects without initiating similar ones. The issue was developed in the talk show “Issue of the day” on Canal 2 TV channel, IPN reports.

“In fact, we didn’t see increased interest in the social projects either in the Government’s work program. The Government wants to clean up the judicial system, to get rid of the so-called corrupt persons and this can mean revenge on the Democratic Party. It also aims to bring some money from the European Union and, eventually, to bring some investors, but I doubt that these will come in such conditions,” stated Corneliu Ciurea.

According to him, the social projects initiated by the PDM are surpassed because they are associated with the former government on which the new government takes revenge. The people will feel the absence of the projects initiated earlier. “There are several more projects implemented in the economic sector, such as the First House and Good Roads. We will see what fate these projects have,” noted the commentator.

Journalist Ion Mischevca said there is money in Moldova’s budget and the new government lies when it says that there is no money. The current governmental team has no strategy for developing the Republic of Moldova and proposed a de-oligarchization plan that actually means removal of the managers of state institutions and destruction of what was built before the new executive was formed. But it suggests no viable alternative.

“They want to annul all the ongoing social projects and don’t stop them gradually, but at once. There are people with signed contracts and companies that won tender contests. There are projects under implementation that should continue at least for a particular period,” stated Ion Mischevca.

Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Ala Nemerenko announced that the nationwide campaign “A doctor for you” will be stopped as of June 25. The minister wrote on Facebook that instead of building a solid health system for all the citizens, the Ministry of Heath played the “a doctor for you game” while large amounts of money from healthcare were being directed to other pockets.
