President Nicolae Timofti and his Romanian counterpart Klaus Werner Iohannis will have discussions in Suceava town on July 7, IPN reports, quoting the presidential press service.

In the meeting, the two heads of state will discuss aspects of the political, economic and cultural cooperation between Moldova and Romania and regional security.  After the meeting, Nicolae Timofti and Klaus Werner Iohannis will make statements for the press.

In Suceava, the two Presidents will take part in an academic event within which Nicolae Timofti will be conferred the title of doctor honoris causa of the University “Stefan cel Mare”.
