Nine deputy ministers re-confirmed in posts
The Government Wednesday confirmed nine deputy ministers for a new term in office. These are: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Natalia Gherman, Deputy Minister of Economy Octavian Calmac, Deputy Minister of Finance
Victor Barbaneagra, Deputy Minister of Justice Oleg Efrim, Deputy Minister of Labor Sergiu Sainciuc, Deputy Minister of Education Loreta Handrabura, Deputy Minister of Transport Boris Gherasim, Deputy Minister of Regional Development Anatolii Zolotco, and Deputy Minister of Information Technology Dona Scola, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In the same meeting, the executive named Radion Bajureanu as Deputy Minister of the Environment. Bajureanu has over 14 years' experience in the area. Earlier, he worked for environmental nongovernmental organizations, international and national projects. He is not a party member, but was proposed for the post by the Liberal Party.
Also, Octavian Bodisteanu was appointed as Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport. Bodisteanu is a Bachelor of Law and a Master of Sports in Freestyle Wrestling. He was also fielded by the Liberal Party and is not a party member.
