Nistor Grozavu: We probably did something incorrectly

“We probably did something incorrectly if the election results are as they are. We should analyze things so as not to commit mistakes in the future,” acting mayor of Chisinau Nistor Grozavu said, commenting on the preliminary election outcome in the capital city, according to which the PCRM’s candidate Igor Dodon won the elections, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The results are not yet final. The situation may change. Nevertheless, it is the voters who are right as they choose what they consider best,” said Nistor Grozavu. He also said that the authors of the exit poll did not select the sample well. “As in the previous elections, the exit poll could not present the real situation in Moldova. I would say that the margin of sampling error is minimum 5%,” stated Nistor Grozavu. 43.33% of the votes cast in the municipality of Chisinau were included in the informational system by 09.00. According to these preliminary results, Igor Dodon leads with 51.59% of the vote. Dorin Chirtoaca polled 43.96% of the vote. The exit poll results showed Dorin Chirtoaca was leading with 53.1% of the ballot.
