The MPs will come together for a special sitting on September 21 to discuss again the laws that were returned to the legislative body by President Igor Dodon, Speaker of Parliament Andrian Candu announced after the traditional meeting at the Democratic Party’s head office, IPN reports.
The President didn’t promulgate the laws on energy, meal vouchers, reformation of the Academy of Sciences and on terrorism fighting. “We consider it is inadmissible for the people to be deprived of particular benefits that are brought by these laws or for particular professional categories not to be able to work because President Dodon has particular interests or vainglory. His egoism should not affect the fate or life or the people,” stated Andrian Candu, who is the first deputy chairman of the Democratic Party.
He added that the non-promulgation of these laws entail costs and loss of time and hamper the implementation of the Association Agreement with the EU and the reforms planned by the Government.
