Parliament will have plenary sessions on June 6 and June 13

The legislative body will convene for plenary sessions on June 6 and June 13, starting at 11:00 a.m. The lawmakers will be presented reports on the execution of last year’s state budget, state social insurance budget and mandatory health insurance funds, IPN reports.

The Parliament’s Standing Bureau on Tuesday approved the agenda of the plenary sessions. The MPs will debate the report on activity in the system of granting state-guaranteed legal aid for last year and the report on the Deposit Guarantee Fund in the banking system for 2023.

The agenda also includes bills on the attraction of an external state loan from the International Monetary Fund and ratification of financing agreements with the EU and the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration of Romania. The legislative initiatives on professions related to the justice system, efficiency of industrial parks, prevention of food waste, amendments to the Law on Citizenship of the Republic of Moldova will be examined in the second reading.

In the first reading, Parliament will debate a draft law on the declaration of assets and personal interests, a legislative initiative to strengthen the activity framework of the National Bank of Moldova, amendments to the law on organic production and labelling of organic products.
