A parliamentary commission will examine how the state holding in Banca de Economii (BEM) is managed. The commission will have nine members, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The PCRM will be represented in the commission by Oleg Reidman (the commission’s chairman), Veaceslav Bondari, and Oleg Garizan.
The PDM proposed Adrian Candu (the commission’s secretary), while the PL put forward Vadim Cojocaru.
The PLDM will decide whether to delegate representatives to work on the commission on February 22. The Lib-Dems are dissatisfied with the fact that their proposal for the commission to examine the situation in the whole banking system, not only at the BEM, was rejected.
Banca de Economii sustained losses of 313 million lei after it released a number of delinquent loans. Within a month, the commission will present a report on how the state holding in BEM is managed to Parliament.
