Partial election results in Romania: USL – 58.63% for Chamber of Deputies and 60.03% for Senate
The first partial official results of the parliamentary elections in Romania, which were presented by the Central Election Office, show that the USL won 58.63% of the votes for the Chamber of Deputies and 60.03% of the votes for the Senate, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the website of the television channel Realitatea TV.
Of the total number of votes cast at 81.49% of the polling places, the ADR polled 16.69% of them for the Chamber of Deputies, the PP-DD – 13.53%, while the UDMR – 5.31%.
For the Senate, the USL gained 60.03% of the poll, the ARD – 16.95%, the PP-DD – 14.18%, while the UDMR – 5.40%.
The rest of the parties won less than 5% of the vote, which is the election threshold for entering Parliament.
With the votes at 81.49% polling places counted, the voter turnout stands at 41.62%.
