The group of the Party of Action and Solidarity on the Chisinau Municipal Council demands that a meeting of the Council should be convened for January 25, IPN reports.

In a press conference, the group’s deputy head Zinaida Popa invited all bona fide and well-intentioned councilors, including well-intentioned MAN councilors, to work. “We need to set up commissions, debate taxes and approve the municipal budget for 2024,” she stated.

Zinaida Popa also asked mayor general Ion Ceban to publish the draft municipal budget for 2024, eliminate the costs associated with the promotion of his own party and include funding for groups with extended hours and for the personal assistance service in the necessary amount.

Councilor Dumitru Ivanov said that the City Hall doesn’t have money in the municipal budget because all the funds were spent on projects, electoral party newspapers, political PR projects.
