Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia conferred the Order of Saint Prince Daniel of Moscow on the head of the Communist Party of Moldova Vladimir Voronin, the party’s press service has said, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. Vladimir Voronin received the first-level order in gratitude for his support to the Christian-Orthodox churches and monasteries situated on Moldova’s territory. The award ceremony took place on October 10 after the ceremony where the small cathedral of the Monastic Complex “Curchi” was blessed.
