The Communist Party (PCRM) accuses the administration of Teleradio-Moldova Company (TRM) of misusing public money and demands that it should present a financial report in Parliament next week, Info-Prim Neo reports. Communist MP Alexandr Petkov said the property of the public company is used by private firms. “The administration of Teleradio-Moldova spends money on trips and many other things. We demand that it render a financial-economic report in Parliament next week,” he stated. He also asked that the Audit Office should verufy how the national public broadcaster spends the public money. The Liberals opposed Petkov’s request from the very beginning. The Liberal-Democrats did not back the proposal when it was put to the vote, though they expressed readiness to support it during discussions. Thus, the proposal did not obtain the number of votes needed to be at least included in the agenda.
