A car struck deadly a pedestrian aged 47 from Bumbata, Ungheni and left the place of the accident. According to villagers, the victim was returning home from a celebration in the neighboring village Romanovca together with his wife. The accident happened on the night of September 26. Ungheni prosecutor Eduard Adam has told Info-Prim Neo that it occurred on the Ungheni – Chisinau road, not far from Bumbata. Neither the car nor the driver has been yet identified. The mayor of Bumbata Gheorghe Cepoi informed the Agency that the man was married and had a son. He worked as a welder at a smithy in Ungheni.
