PL convokes Ministers’ report session in autumn

The Liberal Party (PL) is gathering its Ministers and Deputy Minister to present two-year activity reports in November. Afterwards, it will be decided if some of them should be replaced or not, stated Party’s leader Mihai Ghimpu, quoted Info-Prim Neo. According to Mihai Ghimpu, the Party did not discuss the potential modifications to the ranks of Ministers that come from the Liberal Party. The Liberals do not intend to follow the model of their Alliance colleagues from the Liberal-Democratic Party, who has dismissed two of its Ministers in July. Meanwhile, the PL does not intend to give up on the position of Head of the National Integrity Commission. According to Mihai Ghimpu, this position should go to the PL, since the Party did not receive any of the key-position they had demanded before. As for some opinions that the Commission’s leadership should go to the representative of the civil society, Mihai Ghimpu said that the Parliamentary Parties, not the NGOs, have committed to the responsibility of governing the country. The National Integrity Commission is not active, because a leader for it has not been appointed yet. Previously, several NGOs stated that the PL is guilty of this delay.
