The Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM) has chosen its deputy chairpersons in a meeting of the party’s National Political Council last weekend. These are Vadim Pistrinciuc, Tudor Deliu, Maria Ciobanu, Liliana Palihovici, and Andrei Spanu. Victor Rosca was reelected as secretary general of the PLDM, IPN reports.
In a press release, the party says the National Political Council approved the composition of the group of negotiators with the pro-European parties with a view to identifying a common candidate for this autumn’s presidential elections. The group consists of Viorel Cibotaru, Vadim Pistrinciuc, Grigore Cobzac, and Loretta Handrabura as a substitute member.
The meeting also discussed organizational issues.
Recently, Viorel Cibotaru was chosen as the new chairman of the party after Vlad Filat vacated the seat.
