The Liberal-Democratic MPs reassert their devotion to the values and objectives of the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM) and say they will exercise their mandate of MP, entrusted to them by the people, within the parliamentary group of which they form part, it is said in a statement adopted to deny the latest rumors that a group of lawmakers intend to leave the PLDM’s faction, IPN reports.
The members of the Liberal-Democratic parliamentary group condemn the speculations and deny any supposition of this kind. According to the statement adopted in the September 16 meeting of the faction, the Liberal-Democratic lawmakers called on the other factions of the Pro-European Coalition to obey the provisions of the constitution agreement of May 30, 2013.
“Our example of unity and cohesion now at the end of mandate, regardless of the structure of the lists of candidates, will represent a fundamental condition for creating the future pro-European and democratic government coalition,” reads the statement.
