The president of the PLDM Vlad Filat Tuesday came to the trilateral discussions with a proposal for distributing the posts in the future government. The leaders of the three parties involved in the negotiations did not give details about the proposal, saying only that the dialogue will continue on Wednesday, December 22. Afterward, they will provide more information, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Vlad Filat told the press that the PLDM does not insist on posts, but wants 44% of them, as against the 56% of posts won by the party in 2009. The PDM and PL are to share the rest of the positions between them. “We will demand that the institutions that had a good performance and achieved considerable results be allowed to continue there activity in the same format,” said Vlad Filat.
The leader of the PDM Marian Lupu said after the meeting that the PLDM this time came with a proposal concerning the structure of the future government. Some of the opinions on it coincided, while others were discussed. Marian Lupu confirmed that today he had a short meeting with the president of the PCRM Vladimir Voronin at the PDM’s head office, where they discussed the postelectoral situation and possibilities of overcoming the political crisis in Moldova.
For his part, the president of the PL Mihai Ghimpu said that not the number and quality, but the governance is important. He stressed that they will analyze the proposal to see if it coincides with the party’s views or not.
The December 21 meeting is the sixth in trilateral PLDM – PDM – PL format.
