PNL Romania to open parliamentary office in Chisinau

The National Liberal Party (PNL) of Romania in the first half of 2015 will open a parliamentary office in Chisinau. The announcement was made by the co-chairman of the PNL Diaspora Organization Victor Ionescu in a news conference at IPN on January 22.

“A first real step that we want to take in the immediate future is to open a parliamentary office of the Liberal colleagues from Romania’s Parliament in Chisinau. We must show that besides words and discussions, we can also do concrete things,” said Victor Ionescu.

According to him, the goal of the PNL Romania, together with the organization from here, is to become very visible and to combine the theoretical part of politics with solutions that would help the Romanian citizens from Moldova and the others who need help. “We are holding discussions to determine the exact formula and other technical details,” said Victor Ionescu, specifying that the project is aimed at facilitating communication between the communities from all the states where there are Romanians and the Romanian institutions and authorities.

The parliamentary office is to be opened in the first half of this year, but the process will be hastened as a result of the meeting with Romanians from Moldova.

The representatives of the PNL Romania announced that they will implement a number of projects in Moldova in the near future.
