Stanislav Rusu was dismissed from the post of the director general of the Tourism Agency. A Government decision to this effect was published in the Official Gazette on July 20, 2018, IPN reports.

Stanislav Rusu had held the post since May 2016. Before taking up the post of director general, he served as vice director of the Agency.

He is a graduate of the State University of Moldova, the Public Law Faculty, and of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, the Faculty of International Economic Relations. Since 2006, he worked at a number of ministries and state departments, while in 2011 – 2013 served as the president of the National Association of Hotels and Restaurants of Moldova.
