PPDA launches campaign to inform people

The Party “Platform Dignity and Truth” (PPDA) kicked off a campaign to inform the people about the sociopolitical situation in the country. The party’s leader Andrei Nastase told a news conference that beyond the government’s TV stability, there is a poor and desperate Moldova without present and future.

“The government sees in us, the people of this country, only a source from which it embezzles money by all kinds of schemes, including when we pay for power, telephone and gas. Any cost incurred by us brings large sums to them. They started to steal billions of lei directly from the state budget. The government subdued justice, which, instead of punishing the thieves, safeguards their interests. These are the real accomplishments of those who were and are in power, about whom the people should know,” stated Andrei Nastase.

The leader of the PPDA noted that volunteers will visit as many homes as possible to inform the people and will also gather real stories about persons who live in poverty and humiliation so as to present them to those who hide from the own people behind fences.

Young people who decided to become involved in the campaign said that Moldova needs a qualitative change, a new professional and honest political class that hadn’t been a bystander or accomplice to what happened in the country.
