PPRM welcomes MEPs’ decision to abolish visa requirements for Moldovans

The People’s Party of the Republic of Moldova (PPRM) welcomes the decision of the MEPs to offer the Moldovans the right to move freely in the European Union. The right to free movement is first of all the merit of the people who work in the European countries and who by their work contribute to building Moldova’s prosperity, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the party.

The leader of the PPRM Alexandru Oleinic said the decision of the MEPs to abolish the visa regime is the last chance offered to the current government to fulfill the promises made for ensuring the country’s integration into the EU. The People’s Party will continue to insist on a wide national consensus with a view to identifying the European integration objective as a model for developing and transforming Moldova into a civilized and modern state.

Alexandru Oleinic is convinced that only by a civilized dialogue can the Moldovan political class ensure credibility, political will and social cohesion for the European integration option.
