Premier goes to Paris to look for investors

Prime Minister Vlad Filat will be paying a visit to France during February 12-14. In Paris, he will have meetings with his counterpart François Fillon and the president of the National Assembly of France Bernard Accoyer, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Government. While in France, the Premier will take part in a meeting of the National Assembly’s foreign affairs commission and deliver a speech there. He will also give a speech at the French Institute of International Relations (IFRI). He will meet with representatives of the Moldovan community in France and will visit the company Lactalis, which has a branch in Moldova. Lilia Gurez, head of the Government’s press office, has told Info-Prim Neo that besides pursuing a political aim, the Moldovan Premier wants to attract French investors to Moldova. Vlad Filat will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Iurie Leanca and Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar. A group of Moldovan businessmen will also go to the French capital.
