On the invitation of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, President Igor Dodon is paying a visit to Ashgabat to take part in the opening of the fifth Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, IPN reports.

According to the President, the event will be attended by Heads of State and high-ranking officials from over 30 states, such as Russia, India, China, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Turkey.

President Dodon plans to have meetings with his Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbaev, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko and other officials.
