President Igor Dodon on July 12 is paying a working visit to Belarus. The program includes a meeting of President Aleksandr Lukashenko and participation in the opening of the 26th edition of the International Festival “Slaveanski Bazar” in Vitebsk, IPN reports.

During the visit, the Head of State will familiarize himself with the work of a number of companies leading in the Belarusian agricultural sector and industry. Igor Dodon will also have a meeting with representatives of the Moldovan diaspora in Belarus.

President Dodon expressed his confidence that the current visit will contribute to a political, economic, commercial and cultural rapprochement between Moldova and Belarus.
