President Igor Dodon and Prince Albert II of Monaco conferred on the the bilateral relations and elements of political, diplomatic and economic cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Monaco. After the meeting of the two officials, President Dodon expressed his hope that Monaco’s experience will enable Moldova to create beneficial economic and fiscal conditions for attracting foreign investors, IPN reports.

“I, as President of the Republic of Moldova’ invited His Highness to make an official visit in several months to sign particular economic projects,” stated Igor Dodon.

For his part, Prince Albert II said the delegation he leads is very satisfied with the visit paid to the Republic of Moldova, noting he found a country with an enormous investment potential. “We want to play an as important role as possible in future projects, in different areas. We leave with very good memories of Moldova and I thank you for the invitation. I will be happy to return to continue our relations,” stated the Prince of Monaco, adding that the representatives of the business community and the Economic Council were delighted with the dialogue they had in Chisinau with the Moldovan partners.

The foreign official also said there are conditions for a sustainable relationship in the economic and other sectors.
