Prime Minister on four-day tour in Scandinavian countries

Premier Vlad Filat is paying a four-day official visit to Finland, Sweden and Norway, accompanied by a delegation of governmental officials and businessmen, between September 11 and 14, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Government’s press service. The Moldovan Prime Minister will visit first Helsinki and take part in the Moldovan-Finish Economic Forum. He will then have bilateral meetings with his Finish counterpart Jyrki Katainen and former Prime Minister Mari Kiviniemi, who is an MP and a member of the parliamentary foreign affairs committee. In Stockholm, Vlad Filat will have meetings with Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt, Head of Parliament Per Westerberg and Foreign Minister Carl Bildt. He will also meet with the chairman of the Swedish Trade Council Ulf Berg and representatives of large Swedish companies. On September 13, the Moldovan Premier and Swedish Minister for Trade Ewa Bjorling will open a roundtable meeting of businessmen of Moldova and Sweden. The program of the visit to the Scandinavian countries will end on September 14 in Oslo, where Vlad Filat will have bilateral meetings with the Prime Minister of Norway Jens Stoltenberg, Deputy Speaker Per Kristian Foss and Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Store. Vlad Filat will take part in the Moldovan-Norwegian trade forum and will visit the place of commemoration of the victims of the Oslo and Utoya attacks.
