Prime Minister Maia Sandu's visit to the US, scheduled for this week, has been postponed. The Government of the Republic of Moldova mentions that the visit is postponed due to changes on the agenda of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, IPN reports.

On its Facebook page, the government states that the Office of the Secretary of State has requested another time option and currently a suitable date for both sides is being considered.

Last week, John Bolton, the US President's adviser on national security, paid an official visit to Chisinau. "As to the initiation of important processes on the agenda of our partnership with the United States, we discussed with Mr. Bolton in Chisinau the most important aspects and established the actions to be taken by the Government in the coming months," also says the Government statement.
