PSRM invites parliamentary groups to consultations

The Party of Socialists (PSRM) invites the parliamentary groups to consultations to decide to amend the Constitution by a common vote in Parliament and to set the date of early parliamentary elections. The invitation was issued by the party’s leader Igor Dodon in a news conference, IPN reports.

“Today I will contact the leaders of the parties and parliamentary groups and will invite them to discussions. What should we do next? We, the Socialists, remain firm on our position – we want early parliamentary elections. The people should analyze what the Socialists, the Liberals, the Democrats did,” stated Dodon.

The Socialists’ leader asked to immediately convene a sitting of Parliament where to discuss the situation following the adjustment of tariffs.

“A Parliament sitting should be called immediately to discuss the issue of tariffs. There are two possible solutions here: to annul the higher tariffs or to find possibilities of offsetting the increased costs. If the Government allowed the money to be stolen and the tariffs to be increased, the state should cover the difference. Where to take money from? The Socialists propose confiscating the entire property of those who were involved in the bank thefts,” stated the leader of the PSRM.

Igor Dodon said the Party of Socialists will continue to protest and will demand that all the oligarchs should resign.
