The public servants were to benefit from an annual prize of 10% of the cumulative salary for the last 12 months from 2014. But the date of the coming into force of this provision will be postponed, IPN reports, quoting the 2014 budgetary policy bill that was published on www.particip.gov.md.
The Law on Pay Grades for Public Servants of 2012 provides that this prize will be paid from 2014 for results achieved in 2013. A sum of 124.6 million lei was to be earmarked in the 2014 and 2015 state budgets for the purpose.
The assessment of the medium-term expenditure framework for 2014-2016 shows that there are yet no budgetary resources for increasing the personnel-related costs over the next two years. Thus, this provision will most probably be implemented from 2016.
