Radu Rebeja presents initiatives from his program

The vice president of the Moldovan Football Federation (FMF) Radu Rebeja, who is applying for the post of president of the Federation, Tuesday presented several initiatives from his election program, Info-Prim Neo reports. Radu Rebeja told a news conference that the Moldovan Football Federation wastes large sums of money on the construction of football fields in the suburbs and does not fulfill the promise to build a Polyvalent Hall in Chisinau for a larger number of sportspersons. Among the priorities of his program, if he is elected president of the FMF, Radu Rebeja mentioned the construction of football fields in the municipality of Chisinau, especially because the Federation has financial resources, but they are not managed correctly. Radu Rebeja also said that he does not have access to the Federation’s bookkeeping records and the documents showing how the money is spent, but he knows about schemes by which the money is invested in other activities than planned. The candidate said that he is intimidated into not running for the presidency of the Moldovan Football Federation, but he will not abandon the race even if he may lose the current post. The elections will take place on February 3. Radu Rebeja’s opponent – the Federation’s current president Pavel Cebanu - was elected in 1997 and then reelected in 2001, 2005, and 2009.
