An illegal money management center works at Moldova’s Embassy in Moscow. Iurie Leanca could be the Democratic Party’s candidate for the presidential elections. Businessman Veaceslav Platon is persecuted by Vladimir Plahotniuc because this refused to sell him the assets that he possesses in Moldova. Such statements were made by the leader of “Our Party” Renato Usatyi in the program “Interpol” on TV 7 channel, IPN reports.
According to Usatyi, a center that manages illegally earned money is housed by the Embassy of Moldova in Russia. “Even if it’s known about the existence of this center, it’s not so easy to liquidate it. For the special services to intervene, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia must ask for Moldova’s consent by diplomatic ways. Until all the diplomatic procedures are performed, this center will disappear. They hide very well there as they know that they can be searched. Timotin, one of the Center’s employees, was recently arrested in Taiwan,” said the politician.
Speaking about Veaceslav Platon, Usatyi said that this rejected Plahotniuc’s proposal to sell his assets in Moldova. “This owns shares in Moldincombank and Agroindbank and in two insurance companies. Platon refused because he was offered a twice lower price. That’s why he is persecuted. I think that Platon will say many things in the near future,” he added.
According to Usatyi, Veaceslav Platon no longer possesses shares in Victoriabank. “Plahotniuc forced Platon to sell his shares to Ilan Shor. The latter started to apply the schemes that he used at Banca Sociala and Unibank at Victoriabank too. Plahotniuc didn’t like this for the reason that Victoriabank is connected with his name and he forced Shor to sell his shares to him,” he stated.
The leader of “Our Party” noted that he knows three potential candidates of the Democratic Party for the presidential elections. “One of them is Iurie Leanca. But there are also others whom I don’t know,” said the politician.
Renato Usatyi also said that he has a plan how to make Vladimir Plahotniuc leave Moldova: “It is not about murder. This is possible by protests and I will soon return to these”.
