The nomination of Ion Paduraru as a candidate for Prime Minister represents another important step towards early elections, but the situation remains uncertain, chairman of the “Our Party” (PPPN) Renato Usatyi said in the program “Fourth power” on N4 channel, IPN reports.
“It’s not known what will happen until morning. We can wake up with more surprises, with several decisions by the Constitutional Court or with a statement by Voronin, saying that the union with Romania is the only solution,” stated the mayor of Balti.
Renato Usatyi thanked the people who took to the streets to support President Nicolae Timofti because this opposed the candidacy of Vlad Plahotniuc and called on them to support him further. “I’m grateful to all the people. If Plahotniuc wants to find votes for dismissing the head of state, he will find them. But, for having early elections, the President should not necessarily be removed,” he said.
The leader of the PPPN expressed his conviction that his party will win the future parliamentary elections, saying that after these he will establish in Moldova a regime similar to that of Lukashenko in Belarus.
