Romanian and Ukrainian entrants to compete in 2010 Eurovision final

Romanian duo Paula Seling and Ovi qualified for the final of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest final with a performance that literally made sparks. The couple shot fire from their hands while belting out their staccato pop song, Playing With Fire. Ukraine's representative Alyosha also went through to the final, with the song Sweet People, Info-Prim Neo reports. Armenia, Israel, Denmark, Azerbaijan, Ireland, Cyprus, Georgia and Turkey were also voted through to the final in the second semifinal held in Oslo's Telenor Arena on May 27. Lithuania, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Bulgaria and Croatia failed to progress. The ten countries that qualified for the final in the May 25 semifinal include: Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Russia, Greece, Portugal, Belarus, Serbia, Belgium, Albania and Iceland. Automatic finalists France, Germany, Spain, the UK and last year's winners Norway will also compete on Saturday. Moldova will enter the competition the fourth.
