The Party of Socialists is launching a nationwide campaign to promote the national identity called “I love Moldova”. The campaign will consist of two stages: to inform the people before the census and to promote the “History of Moldova” in different institutions, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the party, before the census that will be taken this spring, activists of the campaign will distribute several hundred thousand leaflets with messages about the Moldovan identity of the majority population.

Within the second stage, the book titled “History of Moldova”, which is about the origin of the Moldovan people and statehood and the place and role of the Moldovans in history, will be distributed to different education institutions.
