A man arrested on charges of robbery committed suicide by hanging himself this morning in the remand facility of the Botanica Police Commissariat, Info-Prim Neo reports. Botanica District Prosecutor Marcel Cimbir told a news conference that the man, 40, was arrested last night after allegedly stealing 50 euros from an apartment on Butucului St. When exiting the apartment, the man was caught by the owner, who proved to be a special destinations police officer and who immobilized the suspect. In the remand facility, the suspect stripped and used his underwear to hand himself by the door handle. The man was previously sentenced six times.
