The common meeting of the Governments of Romania and Moldova is particularly important, especially because it is held during the centenary year when Romania celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Great Union. In this very important year, the economic and commercial relations between the two states should be fostered, the Prime Minister of Romania Viorica Dăncilă stated at the start of the meeting of the Moldovan and Romanian delegations, IPN reports.
Viorica Dăncilă noted the discussions will center on the common cooperation points and the stimulation of cooperation between the two countries. “I hope at the end of this meeting, we will speak about things we achieved and decided and will step up efforts for the projects we have to be accelerated and implemented as soon as possible,” stated the Romanian Premier.
“I’m glad we came together again for a common meeting of the Governments of the Republic of Moldova and Romania. On this occasion, I want to congratulate the new colleagues who entered the Government of Romania. I wish you success in this important mandate. You can see here the Cabinet of Chisinau that went through the central public administration reform. We are fewer in number, but the Government, from my viewpoint, is as efficient or even more efficient than earlier,” stated the Prime Minister of Moldova Pavel Filip.
He noted the two states have historical relations and it is not enough to say that the relations are good or excellent as the relationship between the Republic of Moldova and Romania goes beyond this axis. “We are in a common linguistic area, in a common cultural area, in a common area of values,” stated the Premier.
