Traian Basescu stated on Wednesday evening that he knew that a decision on the referendum would be adopted on Thursday, and that this postponement did not bother him. The turnout at the July 29 referendum on the dismissal of Romanian President Traian Basescu was of 46.24%; 87.52% of the participants voted for the dismissal of Traian Basescu, and 11.15% were against, according to the final data presented on Wednesday by the Central Electoral Bureau.
