Transnistrian leader proposes planning budget for three years

The leader of the Transnistrian administration Yevgeny Shevchuk instructed the so-called minister of economy of the region to consider planning the region’s budget for a period of up to three years, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the website of Novyi Reghion Agency. He requested planning the budget for the next fiscal year and for 2014 – 2015. Yevgeny Shevchuk considers that such a move will enable to implement the region’s medium-term socioeconomic development strategy. According to him, such a budget planning method is used in Russia. The 2013 draft budget was submitted to the region’s Supreme Soviet and is to be debated in the second reading.
