The Public Company Teleradio-Moldova (TRM) developed of program of covering the events that mark the 20th of anniversary of Moldova’s independence. TRM will bring back on screen and on radio the architects of national renaissance, Info-Prim Neo learned from a press release of the company. Between August 15 and 26, Moldova 1 will broadcast 10 full episodes of footage from the Great National Assemblies in 1989 and 1991 under the headline “Independence 20. Moldova 1 wrote the history”. In August, the TRM audience will follow a series of 20 documentaries “Two decades of independence: know the Country through those made its History”, which will tell the stories of those who fought for Independence: Mircea Snegur, Alexandru Mosanu, Ion Ungureanu, Mircea Druc, Grigore Vieru, Valentin Mandacanu, Ion and Doina Aldea-Teodorovici. Moldova 1 will broadcast 8 episodes of the documentary “Independence 20. Discover Moldova”, about architectural and monastic monuments and picturesque places in Moldova. Radio Moldova, Radio Moldova Musical and Radio Moldova International will also broadcast a series of shows dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Moldova’s independence. On the same occasion, Radio Moldova will launch a CD with recordings from the first Great National Assembly and will organize the action “Write the history! Be independent with Moldova 1”. Besides, Radio Moldova will organize some contests on the Independence Day. By August 27, the results of the essay contest “Independence at adulthood” and of the children’s contest “I love my Moldova” will be announced. The Youth Force program will include a report about the awarding of winners of the photography and decorative art contest. On August 27, Moldova 1 TV and Radio Moldova will broadcast live the manifestations from the Great National Assembly Square, the military parade, and other cultural events from Chisinau and districts. The public TV studios will launch a show with the participation of Moldovan presidents and other prominent people.
