A truck carrying 30 tonnes of fuel overturned Tuesday afternoon on Chisinau-Hancesti road, near the village of Fundul Galbenei, leaking 15 tonnes of gas and 6 tonnes of petrodiesel, Info-Prim Neo has learned from the spokesperson of the Emergencies Service, Dorina Cruc. Several units of equipment were deployed to the scene to collect the spilled fuel and put the truck back on its wheels. Vladimir Garba, the head of Chisinau's branch of the Moldovan Environmental Movement, warned the leak could have serious environmental consequences.
