The co-rapporteurs of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Lise Christoffersen and Piotr Wach will make a fact-finding visit to Moldova on September 23-26, IPN reports.

According to the Parliament’s press service, the PACE co-rapporteurs will have meetings in Chisinau and will pay visits to Budesti and Vadul lui Voda to meet with the mayors of the two settlements and with local councilors. The delegation will also make a visit to Transnistria to discuss with the Transnistrian leaders Yevgeny Shevchuk, Nina Shtanski and Mihail Burla.

The PACE co-rapporteurs will also meet with representatives of civil society and the mass media. On September 26, Lise Christoffersen and Piotr Wach will give a news conference.
