The Ukrainian citizens who settled in Moldova or are on a visit here will be able to vote at two polling places that will be set up in Chisinau and in Balti. The Supreme Rada elections will be held on October 26, IPN reports.
According to a press release of the Embassy of Ukraine, the polling place in Chisinau will be established inside the Embassy situated at 17 Vasile Lupu St, while the polling place in Balti – inside the Ukrainian Consulate located at 143 Kiev St. Voting will take place between 8am and 8pm, local time.
To take part in the elections, the Ukrainian citizens must be written on the register of voters. The application to modify the place where the person will vote can be submitted not later than five days before the elections.
The Embassy of Ukraine calls on the citizens to determine if they are on the voter rolls by calling on 022 58-22-84 (+ 373-22-58-22-84) or 060-96-45-60 (+373 60 96 45 60).
