The U.S. Embassy took note of the Appeals Court decision to exclude the “Patria” Party from the electoral list, IPN reports, quoting a press release from the Embassy.

“Although we are not privy to all of the facts considered by the Appeals Court in this case, we are deeply concerned about ensuring respect for rule of law and a fair and democratic electoral process. We call upon all parties involved to ensure the law is respected and that the people of Moldova can peacefully express their democratic will on November 30 in line with international standards and democratic principles,” the Embassy says in its press release.
