The Democratic Party’s candidate for mayor of Chisinau went to vote with positive thoughts and high hopes for the future. Valentina Buliga marked her ballot at a polling place set up inside “Dimitrie Cantemir” High School. She was accompanied by her husband and her son Alexandru, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Valentina Buliga said that she wants a clean, developed, European capital city. She stated she voted in the hope that the residents of Chisinau will have a decent future, fair pensions and salaries and education institutions that will meet the highest standards.
Asked what she will do during the day, the candidate said she will contact her party colleagues to see how the elections take place in Chisinau and in districts. She will be waiting for the results of the local elections at the Democratic Party’s head office, alongside her colleagues who supported her throughout the election campaign.
Valentina Buliga comes ninth in the list of candidates for mayor written in the ballot.
