Valeriu Zubco misses questioning on health grounds

Seven persons were questioned in the first half of Friday, February 1, by the parliamentary commission of inquiry into the tragic hunting incident in the Domneasca Forest. Former prosecutor general Valeriu Zubco, who was expected to appear at 08.30, did not present himself, invoking health problems, Info-Prim Neo reports. The commission questioned the former director of “Moldsilva” Ion Lupu behind closed door for about an hour, starting at 10.00. He did not want to talk to the press, saying that he provided the information required by the commission. After Lupu, there was questioned the vice president of the Court of Appeals Gheorghe Cretu, who is the only one who is investigated for accidental shooting of a man during hunting. Cretu also refused to answer journalists’ questions. The hearings continued with the director of the state-run company “Registru” Sergiu Railean, the president of the Court of Appeals Ion Plesca, businessman Ghenadie Sajin, Liberal councilor of Chisinau Iurie Nastas, and businessman Sergiu Latis. After a break, there were questioned the leader of the “Antimafie” Movement Sergiu Mocanu, acting prosector general Andrei Pantea, and vice director of the Security and Information Service Vadim Vrabie.
