The candidate for the presidency of Romania Victor Ponta has chances to become the youngest head of state of Romania so far, consider representatives of the Association of War Veterans of the Romanian Army and of the Association of Victims of the Communist Regime, who, in a news conference at IPN, called on the voters to support candidate Victor Ponta.

Veteran Nicolae Soitu said that Victor Ponta is an energetic politician who has a lot of plans for the future. He has all the chances to become head of state. The veteran is convinced that Ponta will enjoy significant support in Moldova too because he implemented a series of important project here.

Veteran Ion Mahu said that Victor Ponta, being the youngest Prime Minister of Romania, managed to do a lot of useful things in only two years, including for the Moldovan citizens. The 40,000 teachers of Moldova know what Victor Ponta did in the education sector and they will definitely support him.

The presidential elections in Romania will take place on November 2.
