The candidate for presidency in Romania Victor Ponta is appreciated in Chisinau for the projects he promotes in Moldova.
Veteran Nicolae Soitu, who represents the Association of War Veterans of the Romanian Army, in a news conference at IPN said that most of the projects put forward by Victor Ponta have been already implemented. The construction of the Iasi-Ungheni gas pipeline, which is to be extended up to Chisinau, is one of the most important of them.
The veteran also said that a considerable amount of money was allocated for renovating the Mother and Child Institute in Chisinau. “You see yourselves the projects that were implemented here. More such projects will be yet promoted,” he stated.
According to Nicolae Soitu, by voting in Victor Ponta as President of Romania, the dream of a union can come true. “There are many candidates, but the best projects are those proposed by Victor Ponta,” said the veteran.
Another veteran Ion Mahu said that while on a visit to Chisinau, Victor Ponta took part in a scientific conference at the Academy of Sciences, where he promised to provide financial assistance to the Ministry of Education. “The media reported what Mister Ponta did in Moldova. He is known for what he did in all the areas, especially in education,” he stated.
The representatives of the Association of War Veterans of the Romanian Army and of the Association of Victims of the Communist Regime called on the Romanians from Moldova to support Victor Ponta in the November 2 presidential elections of Romania.
