Vlad Batrancea: Moldova is in socioeconomic crisis

Socialist MP Vlad Batrancea said Valeriu Strelet leads the most corrupt Government in Europe, while Moldova faces a socioeconomic crisis following poor governance in the last six years. In his speech in Parliament, the lawmaker said the ordinary people are the most affected by this situation, IPN reports.

According to the MP, the people do not have money for such basic necessities as medicines and food products. A number of state-run companies, in particular Moldova’s Railways, are in a difficult situation. The development partners also lost confidence in the state institutions.

“The Alliance for European Integration stopped existing. That’s why early parliamentary elections should follow the dismissal of the Cabinet given that 80% of the people no longer trust this government,” stated Batrancea.

The no-confidence motion against the Strelet Government, signed by 42 MPs of the Party of Socialists and the Party of Communist, was put forward last week.
