Vlad Filat sends letter of condolence to Ukrainian counterpart

Prime Minister Vlad Filat offered his condolences to his Ukrainian counterpart Nicolai Azarov in connection with the explosions that shook Dnepropetrovsk town, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Government. In the letter, the Premier gives his condolences to those affected by the blasts, in the name of the Government of Moldova. “This tragic event left a painful imprint on the hearts of the Moldovans, who condemn the violent actions aimed against the peaceful population,” reads the letter. Dnepropetrovsk was rocked by a series of explosions in the evening of April 27. At least 27 people were injured, three of whom seriously. The local Prosecutor’s Office described the incidents as terrorist attacks.
