The leader of the Liberal Democratic Party Vlad Filat accuses some of the Moldovan politicians of taking steps to induce the Russian authorities to impose sanctions on Moldova. The politician made such a statement in the program “Forth power” on N4 TV channel, IPN reports.
Vlad Filat didn’t give names, but made it clear that these persons represent left-wing parties that oppose Moldova’s integration into the EU. “Our party leaders go regularly to Moscow and urge the authorities there to impose all kinds of embargoes, economic sanctions and harsh conditions and to expel the Moldovan workers, ignoring the national interests of Moldova,” he stated.
